Rapper Nicki Minaj Testifies For Brother Accused Of Raping A Child
Jelani Maraj stands accused of being a pedophile
Pop and Rap star Nicki Minaj is stepping in to testify for her brother who has been accused of raping his 11-year-year-old stepdaughter.
Jelani Maraj stands accused in a child rape trial in Nassau County, which Jelani’s lawyer, David Schwartz, says is nothing but an attempt to extort $25 million from his ‘world-famous sister.’
According to Schwartz, Jacqueline told Minaj that ‘I can make the charges go away for $25 million.’
In addition to child rape charges, Jelani, who pleaded not guilty of child rape charges, is also child abuse facing charges.
Celebrity Insider reports: According to Jelani’s lawyer, David Schwartz, the accusations are nothing but an attempt to extort $25 million from his ‘world-famous sister.’
David claims that Jacqueline told the ‘Bang Bang’ rapper that ‘I can make the charges go away for $25 million.’
The lawyer goes on accusing Jacqueline of being a manipulative and devious young woman.
‘Why would [Robinson] lie and force her children to lie? I can give you 25 million reasons why’ he reportedly told the jury.
In addition to child rape charges, Jelani, who pleaded not guilty over the accusation of a predatory sexual assault on a child when police arrested him in December 2005, is now facing child abuse charges.
The girl’s brother alleges that Jelani has beaten him after witnessing his step-dad forcing his big sister to have sex with him in a spare bedroom, according to the prosecutor.
It also seems that the cops reportedly find a pair of the girl’s pajama pants which were soiled with Jelani’s DNA.
David insists that the mother has intentionally put the DNA on the pants herself.
‘Jackie became obsessed with Nicki Minaj-getting her hands on her money,’ according to the lawyer.
‘An evil Jackie targeted him [Jelani], trying to get him to marry her, and then just four months after they were married, we have this,’ continued the lawyer.
It remains to be seen when the rapper will testify during the trial, and defense private investigator Les Levine states that Nicki will be called to the stand on her brother’s behalf. The rapper has also previously paid his $100,000 bail when he was arrested back in 2015.
